Morse code combines long and short signals (sound, light) or spaced dots and dashes (print). It’s named after Samuel Finley Breese Morse, an American inventor from the 19th century. With this code, long-distance communication became faster and simpler. Since it was introduced it allows people to encode their messages. Receivers can use Morse code alphabet to decipher the content. The army and amateur radio enthusiasts use it to this day.
This poster honors the minimalism and efficiency of the International Morse Code. The symbols in the middle show a Morse representation of the Latin alphabet with encoded "MORSE" word on top, and "CODE" at the bottom.
